Free Internet Marketing : The ULTRA Basics!

I've become quite interested in this use of the Internet, actually. At first, I would just find those annoying banners, ads, pop-ups offering me tricks to get rich, as whether a SCAM, or just plain annoying and keeping me from my Facebook or Hotmail or whatever =)

NOW, time has passed and I've become familiar with some of these websites and the material they offer. And boy, you gotta be careful, because there are lots of scams out there...

...Let's just say that if you see webpages, ads, or e-mails offering you something to the likes of "GET SUPER MEGA HYPER FILTHY RICH IN ONE DAY BY USING THIS SIMPLE METHOD - BUY OUR BOOK/SOFTWARE/WHATEVER!" ...

... I'd say it's a BLOODY SCAM. Don't fall for it!

But don't get me wrong: you CAN make money on the Internet. There are pretty cool ways and methods that you can use, and I'll share what I'm learning with you. But bear in mind: As I "gently" stated before, there is NO "GET RICH QUICK, EFFORTLESSLY" marketing plan that ISN'T a SCAM, or at the very least, VERY FISHY.

No, no, no.

Listen: To make money with Internet Marketing, all you need is, as in every walk of life, DRIVE. Of course, IM (as I'll call it now) is a very wide field, so you'll find ways to make money for free, as well as paid methods. No matter what you choose, it takes dedication (at least in the beginning). If you're a passionate person (like me), you won't have any problem at all. No experience required AT ALL.

Oh, by the way:
Everything I'll share with you now is FREE. All it takes for you to get started, is to sign-up at some websites, and your own work and success drive!

Let's get started then, shall we? =)

OK, friends. First of all, let me explain to you the FREE methods:

1.- Affiliate Marketing:
This is, by far, the best you can do to start from scratch, if you don't have your own product and/or website to advertise on the Net. Being an Affiliate Marketer means that you promote/advertise other people's products/services, and they'll keep a track of your Affiliate ID, and every time your promotional link/ad/website leads to a SALE, they will give you a commission!

NOW, the commission itself will depend on the company, and it can range from $5 until around $85 PER SALE OR MORE! No catch here, no fees whatsoever, but of course, the success of your sales is ENTIRELY UP TO YOU.

Therefore, a personal advice I'd give you, my friend, is this: Sell something that you know about, something that you like, love, hopefully something that you're passionate about! That way, any promotional effort will come more naturally and will require less "stretching".

OK, and now for the second one!

2.- Article Marketing:
This type of IM requires you to have your own website or blog, PLUS a little more technique, because, as the name says, you need to WRITE, RECOMMEND and PERSUADE.

Basically, works like this:

- You sign up to an article writing website, like Ezinearticles.com or GoArticle.com
- You write articles and review something. You MUST elaborate on it, otherwise it would be SPAM, and for those websites, that's a no-no.
The key for Article Marketing Success is Relevance in Search Engines, though. Optimizing Search Engines and Using Keywords is a whole new set of skills, that I'll cover soon! Don't worry ;)

If you want to get started soon, here's the steps I recommend, links and all =) :

1.- Join an Affiliate Programs Website. The most popular one is CLICKBANK. You can sign up HERE.

2.- Follow the simple instructions and get your ClickBank ID.

3.- Next, Go to "MARKETPLACE" (On top). There, you will find all the different products being offered. Search as you like.

4.- When you find a product you wanna promote, underneath its title, click the "CREATE HOPLINK" link. It will open up a new window for you, in which you'll have to enter your ClickBank ID again, and a Tracking ID (optional). Once you click "GO", you'll see your affiliate links! One direct, one for your website or blog.

5.- Now, you need to EXPLODE that link! Promote it EVERYWHERE! I recommend going to classified ad websites and offering your product.

Personally, I'd recommend you to use U.S.FreeAds.com, you can post endless different promotions there! You can Sign Up Here =)

OH! Almost forgot! ClickBank requires you have a PayPal account for receiving your payments. Just go to PayPal.com and create an account! =)
